The Secretary leads the office charged with maintaining the official records, actions, constitution, and membership of the Caribbean Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventist. The Office is charged with helping the Union and its entities to live in harmony with the policies and procedures of the church at large as we seek together to fulfill the mission of the everlasting gospel to the whole world and specifically our territories within the Caribbean

The responsibility of the Secretary is to ensure the smooth operation of the union and its entities, as it relates to policy development, implementation and interpretation. He prepares and distributes committee agendas and minutes and compiles statistics and reports. It is his office's responsibility to assist union entities in the development of constitutions and bylaws, and also assists the president of the union in his leadership role.

The Secretary's office also functions as the human relations office for the Union.
