Union session 2011 official opening
The Caribbean union conference of Seventh-day Adventist is conducting the 15th Administrative and Planning Session during the period, July 13-16, 2011 at the University of the Southern Caribbean in Maracas Valley, St.Joseph. There will be unique and historic features such as the Regional Exposition, Awards Ceremony, Youth and Global Mission and a Small Business Component.
The official opening was held on Wednesday 13th July, 2011 at 4:00pm. The featured address was delivered by Dr. Israel Leito, President of the Inter-American Division.
More than 300 delegates and guest received reports for the quinquenniun 2006-2010 and have assessed the progress of the Youth, Health , Family Life , Communication, Education, Women and Children’s Ministries and craft recommendations designed to rescue and restore families in crisis.
Policies have been crafted to expand the operation of ADRA: The Adventist Development and Relief Agency, intensified the impact of the church in the community and developed support group associations.
The grand climax will be on Saturday 16th January 2011 when Dr. Lowell Cooper, Vice President of the General Conference will present the topic, “Empowered by Grace”
The program is open to members of the public.
